Try
New Things
Sometimes
we get caught up in routines and doing things the same way for so long. Which
is okay because I understand we all have certain methods of doing things.
However, it’s always good to try new things and explore different approaches. Whether
you’re an artist that paints, draws, takes photos, or anything creative. Exploring
new horizons is what helps us grow, it keeps our minds flourishing. Trying new
techniques and different methodologies recalibrates our brain. It could also bring
inspiration and new ideas for your creativity. Make sure to take a break from
the “norm” and explore new perceptions. Do not be afraid to take risks and try
new things because it will only make you a better creative entity.
When
we start to become use to the same old same old, we hinder our ability to
become better creative individuals. It kills our thinking and dampens our
creative drive. The best way to overcome this problem is try something you
never would do. I know it might be uncomfortable at first but that’s the
beginning stage of overcoming those suspicions. Once you’re able to allow
yourself to try something new. Reflect on the things that you liked and didn’t like
about it. You might be surprised at the outcome. I’ve tried this approach
before with my photography, I allowed myself to step outside my ordinary bubble
for a moment. Once I did that I learned that new things are not so bad. It even
sparked some inspiration for new ideas. Explore new horizons and don’t be
afraid to get outside of your normal routine for a moment.
